It’s always sunny in Sunnidale

The Sunnidale Community, located in Barrie North, offers something for everyone. My favourite part of this area of the city is that it’s no more than 30 minutes away from some of Ontario’s most popular vacation destinations, including Blue Mountain Ski Resort and Wasaga Beach.

On the other hand, if you like the comforts of home, there’s also lots to do right in your own neighbourhood. With major public transit routes connecting various parts of the community, plenty of activities are at your fingertips.

A popular and local favourite (as proven by winning the reader’s choice award for “best breakfast in Barrie” for three years) is Flashback Diner’s all-day breakfast. Or, if theatre is more your thing, Barrie’s Downtown Community Theatre offers family-friendly performances. Several shopping districts are also located in the Sunnidale Community and close by in the downtown core, including grocery, large shopping malls & specialty boutiques.

When you want to enjoy the outdoors or wind down with nature, Sunnidale Park is the place to go, and recently the park created a designated off-leash area for dog owners in a fenced-in section. The Park also features a community garden where residents can rent plot space to grow their own produce.

With a community centre, schools and the countryside nearby, it’s no wonder that Sunnidale is a much sought after community for those looking to settle in Barrie. If you want to know more about homes available in this area, contact me at [email protected] or 705-722-7100.
